Allergy immunotherapy pharmacies compared

Choose a dispensing workflow that fits your practice—not a universal winner. Start with the prescription route, the actual dispensing location and the states where medication will be delivered.

The actual prescription. The specific formulation.

For practice buyers evaluating patient-specific allergy-immunotherapy dispensing. Capabilities and commercial terms below are company-reported unless a specific original board record is identified. A published offer does not prove availability for your patient, formulation or destination.

Compare the dispensing scope first

SCIT means subcutaneous allergy injections; SLIT drops are compounded preparations used under the tongue. These are different routes and procurement needs. “Not published” means the cited public sources do not establish that information; it does not mean the pharmacy cannot provide it.

The three businesses below describe pharmacy dispensing or compounding and an allergy-immunotherapy service in their own sources. Extract manufacturers supply stock products; protocol consultants and staffing vendors support care; patient-facing telemedicine programs provide clinical services. None should be treated as the dispensing pharmacy without identifying its actual prescription label and license.

Where each pharmacy is strong

  • AlleReach Pharmacy: one dispensing team for both routes—patient-specific SCIT injection sets in 4-, 7- and 8-vial formats and ready-to-administer SLIT drops in metered-dose pumps—with an on-site Pharmacist in Charge, phone ordering and a refill portal for established practices.
  • Allergychoices Pharmacy: publishes its SLIT prescription prices (inhalant from $149 for a 90-day supply) and a two-business-day dispatch commitment once prescription and payment are received, and offers pharmacist consultation, patient counseling and interpreter services for inhalant, food and preseasonal drops.
  • Innovation Compounding: prepares immunotherapy for individual patients from skin or blood test results, with provider and patient prescription portals, direct pharmacist access and a published shipping-eligibility map.

AlleReach Pharmacy: injection and oral-drop workflows

Company-reported scope: patient-specific SCIT and SLIT compounding for physician practices. The immunotherapy page describes injection-set alternatives and ready-to-administer metered-pump drops. New and existing prescriptions can be started by phone; established practices have a refill portal. Ordering medication does not transfer diagnosis, patient selection, prescription choice, administration supervision or reaction management from the treating clinician.

Dispensing identity/address: the Oklahoma original record names DBA ALLEREACH PHARMACY at 7920 Elmbrook Drive, Suite 10B, Dallas, TX 75247. Its corporation/company-owner field is blank, so the legal corporate owner is Not independently verified here. Ask for the exact Texas licensed entity, facility number and dispensing address on the prescription label and contract.

Independently verified, limited scope: Oklahoma nonresident pharmacy license 99-8772, status “License in Good Standing”; renewed August 14, 2026, expires August 31, 2027. Read October 12, 2026; board record last updated October 11, 2026, 7:18:59 PM. The record lists sterile compounding “Yes”; that flag is not an independent USP compliance audit. It does not verify the Texas home license or authorization in every destination state.

Home-state and other destinations: Not independently verified. The Texas verification entry and pharmacy search were inspected, but no matching facility detail record was obtained. Buyer check: match ALLEREACH PHARMACY and the Elmbrook address in the Texas State Board of Pharmacy facility search; retain the license number, current status, permitted activity, expiration and any restrictions. Repeat with the receiving state’s nonresident-pharmacy lookup for the exact entity and formulation.

Shipping/storage: the public shipping FAQ describes overnight courier shipment and optional summer ice packs at extra cost. Its ambient-shipment discussion is not a universal heat allowance or promise of cold arrival. Obtain written shipping conditions, destination eligibility, delivery-delay assessment and the final bottle/vial’s storage instructions and beyond-use date. No refrigeration rule can be inferred from the route or glycerin alone.

Support/contact: pharmacy 972-913-2938 and the company contact page for ordering or compounding questions. The public immunotherapy page describes external formulation/administration support for some protocols; identify the service and responsibilities in a separate contract without assuming it is pharmacy care.

Published commercial terms in the cited sources: prescription price — Not published; compounding lead time — Not published; ice-pack surcharge amount — Not published; minimum orders, account fees, returns/replacement policy and contract duration — Not published. Overnight courier service is a shipping method, not a promised order-to-delivery time. Request a written patient-specific quote and service terms.

Fit/strength: publicly described SCIT and SLIT options let a practice ask one dispensing team about both routes. Limits: that breadth does not establish your destination license, final formulation, total price or suitability of home injections. Home SCIT requires clinician preselection, ongoing supervision and an emergency plan including prescribed epinephrine; it is not standard office SCIT moved home without safeguards.

Allergychoices Pharmacy: named-patient SLIT dispensing

Company-reported scope: custom named-patient SLIT prescriptions according to provider orders using La Crosse Method dosing strategies. The public pharmacy offer covers inhalant, food and preseasonal prescriptions, metered dispensing, pharmacist consultation, patient counseling, interpreter services, lot tracking and an ordering/review/tracking portal. SCIT dispensing is Not published on this page. Clinical diagnosis, patient selection, prescribing and follow-up remain with the treating clinician.

Legal dispensing identity/address from the original Oklahoma board: ALLERGYCHOICES, LLC, DBA ALLERGYCHOICES PHARMACY, 2731 National Drive, Onalaska, WI 54650. Match this entity and location against the prescription label and proposed agreement; a brand or protocol name alone is not the dispensing identity.

Independently verified, limited scope: Oklahoma nonresident pharmacy license 99-9732, status “License in Good Standing”; renewed July 6, 2026, expires July 31, 2027. Read October 12, 2026; board record last updated October 11, 2026, 7:18:59 PM. Sterile compounding is listed “Yes,” not an audit or certification of a particular preparation. Wisconsin home-state status and every other destination license are Not independently verified here.

The company says it serves all states. That is company-reported coverage, not a retained state-by-state verification. Wisconsin’s license-search host could not be resolved during this check. Buyer check: use Wisconsin DSPS business/facility credential search for ALLERGYCHOICES, LLC / ALLERGYCHOICES PHARMACY at National Drive; obtain the facility credential number, status, expiration and restrictions. Verify nonresident dispensing permission separately in each receiving state and for the intended preparation.

Published prescription pricing, company-reported as read October 12, 2026: inhalant prescriptions begin at $149 for a 90-day supply, depending on prescription complexity and antigens; food prescriptions begin at $173 for a 90-day prescription; preseasonal grass/ragweed/tree prescriptions are $152 for a two-vial set, with bundled pricing available by contact. These are medication offers, not an all-in clinical-care quote. The retained July 10, 2026 archive displays the same figures and conditions; it is an earlier snapshot, not an invented October archive.

What the published rates cover: the stated medication supply or two-vial prescription set. The page does not separately specify initial-versus-refill rates or establish inclusion of testing, clinician visits, shipping, taxes or every formulation’s supplies; inclusion/exclusion details and separate charges are Not published. Do not assume those services are included or universally excluded. Request an itemized initial-order and refill quote, including the precise formulation and any bundled-price conditions.

Published lead time: the company says prescriptions ship within two business days after receipt of both prescription orders and payment. That is a conditional dispatch statement, not guaranteed arrival or time from a first inquiry. Other shipping options are available on request. Shipping charges, formulation-specific transport temperatures, storage/BUD instructions, replacement/refund terms, account fees and practice-contract duration — Not published on the cited dispensing page. Obtain them in writing.

Support/contact: (866) 793-1680, extension 401 for pharmacy information. Fit/strength: the visible SLIT pricing and conditional dispatch terms support budgeting, while pharmacist consultation and interpreter support may fit practices with complex communication needs. Limits: no SCIT offer is established here; starting prices do not define every formulation or all medical costs, and a protocol offer does not establish universal safety or suitability.

Innovation Compounding: a route-confirmation alternative

The pharmacy’s original allergy page states that immunotherapy formulations are prepared for individual patients based on skin or blood testing. Its current page does not distinguish SCIT from SLIT. Keep it on a preliminary procurement list only if the pharmacist confirms the required route and allergens; do not treat a generic immunotherapy description as a verified oral-drop or injection offer.

Company-published dispensing location: Innovation Compounding, 3330 Chastain Meadows Parkway NW, Suite 100, Kennesaw, GA 30144; pharmacy (770) 421-1399. The home page links provider and patient prescription portals and pharmacist support. Legal license-holding entity, home-state facility number/status and destination authorization — Not independently verified. The Georgia facility-verification form was inspected but requires reCAPTCHA; no matched record is retained.

Buyer check: search “Innovation” in the Georgia Board of Pharmacy business/facility lookup, match the current Chastain Meadows address, and obtain the exact licensed entity, facility number, status, expiration and restrictions. Ask the pharmacy to reconcile any older address on a record before contracting. Verify the exact entity’s nonresident license in every receiving state rather than relying on the company shipping map.

Shipping/storage: the company publishes a shipping-eligibility map with sterile/nonsterile qualifications in some destinations. Those are company-reported, not board verification. Allergy-specific transport method, temperature controls, storage range, BUD and excursion/replacement terms — Not published in the cited allergy offer. Ask for the actual final-product label and a written shipping plan for your destination.

Commercial terms for allergy prescriptions in the cited sources: price — Not published; allergy compounding lead time — Not published; minimums, shipping charges, refunds/replacements and practice-contract duration — Not published. Portal access is an ordering channel, not a promised clinical-service or turnaround contract. Ask how the prescriber supplies a complete patient-specific order, who resolves clarifications and how the patient receives counseling.

Fit/strength: the public allergy-immunotherapy offer and compounding/pharmacist channels provide a concrete alternative for a practice willing to establish a formulation-specific workflow. Limits: route and current allergy-dispensing scope need written confirmation; legal entity and license status are unverified here. The treating clinician retains testing interpretation, patient selection, prescribing, monitoring and emergency planning.

A purchase-ready verification checklist

A national shipping statement and a good-standing record in one state answer different questions. Neither replaces verification of the home facility, the destination permit, restrictions on sterile/nonsterile work or the specific product. Recheck before the first order and when destination, dispensing address or license status changes.

USP <795> addresses nonsterile compounding; USP <797> addresses sterile compounding, including applicable allergenic-extract prescription-set requirements. Neither chapter is a facility certification. FDA’s January 2018 biologics guidance states that Section 503A/503B drug-compounding exemptions do not apply to biological products subject to licensure under the Public Health Service Act. Its separate policy for allergenic-extract prescription sets is specifically for subcutaneous immunotherapy, not oral SLIT. A company’s “503A pharmacy” description therefore does not establish an exemption, approval or legal authorization for a final allergen-biologic drop preparation. Company references to USP, a clean room or a board’s sterile-compounding flag are not independent compliance certification.

  • Identify the pharmacy on the label: exact legal entity/DBA, physical dispensing address, home license and destination nonresident license. Retain the board record URL, number, state, status and date, plus any restrictions or disciplinary documents relevant to the planned service.
  • Obtain written SCIT/SLIT scope, supported allergens, prescription requirements, final diluents/ingredients, route-specific label, BUD and storage instructions. Confirm which services belong to the pharmacist and which require another clinical or protocol contract.
  • Define retained clinician responsibilities: diagnosis, test interpretation, patient selection, prescription authorization, administration setting, monitoring and emergency care. Prior anaphylaxis, uncontrolled asthma, food/drug allergy, young children or pregnancy require individualized in-person assessment; do not route them through a generic buyer workflow.
  • Agree on receipt and clarification of complete prescriptions, patient counseling, recall/lot tracing, shipment tracking, temperature excursions, delays, replacement decisions, treatment interruptions and who contacts the prescriber. This guide gives no restart or dosing instructions.
  • Request an itemized quote: medication/formulation, supplies, shipping/temperature packaging, onboarding or account fees, taxes if applicable, refill charges, contract length, cancellation, refunds and replacement policy. Distinguish processing, dispatch and carrier transit; document what starts each clock.

Frequently asked questions

Does “ships nationwide” prove a pharmacy may fill my order?

No. It is a company capability claim. Verify the exact dispensing entity and address in its home-state facility record and the receiving state’s nonresident record, including current status, restrictions and permission for the intended sterile or nonsterile preparation.

Can I compare published SLIT prices as total treatment costs?

Not without an itemized quote. Allergychoices publishes medication starting prices and a conditional dispatch time. Those do not establish testing, visits, shipping, every prescription’s price or contract terms. AlleReach and Innovation allergy prescription rates are Not published in the cited sources.

Does purchasing from a pharmacy replace a clinical immunotherapy program?

No. Dispensing, protocol support, staffing and medical care are different services. The treating clinician remains responsible for appropriate diagnosis, selection, prescribing, supervision and reaction management. Define those responsibilities explicitly before purchasing.

Are these pharmacies independently certified as USP compliant?

This comparison makes no such claim. USP chapters describe standards, not certification of a particular pharmacy. A “503A” company description does not establish an exemption for allergen biological products: FDA distinguishes these from drugs eligible for 503A/503B exemptions, and its allergenic-extract prescription-set policy is SCIT-specific. Marketing statements and board sterile-compounding flags do not certify a facility or prescription.

Why is Innovation listed when its route is not published?

Its original pharmacy source describes patient-specific allergy immunotherapy, making it a real preliminary alternative rather than a manufacturer or protocol vendor. The route is an explicit unresolved procurement question, not an assumed SCIT or SLIT capability. Obtain written confirmation before treating it as eligible for your required route.

Personalized allergy drops are compounded by pharmacies and prescribed off-label, using FDA-approved allergenic extracts also used in allergy shots. Compounded drops are not FDA-approved products; off-label does not mean unsafe or experimental. That distinction is not proof of universal safety, effectiveness or suitability of every final mixture. The prescriber and pharmacist must assess the specific formulation, route and patient.

Turn a comparison into a written pharmacy conversation

For AlleReach orders, ask the dispensing team for your formulation, destination-license details, label and itemized quote. For another pharmacy, use the contact listed in its profile. Do not send patient-identifying information through an unapproved channel.
